“We very much welcome the swift response from the city of Frankfurt in imposing a ban on demonstrations by anti-Israeli groups. Such demonstrations in other cities in recent days have clearly shown that they were used to glorify brutal acts of violence by Hamas and to spread anti-Semitic slogans. To allow such behavior knowingly would be completely unacceptable. Celebrating the killing, abduction, and abuse of people on our streets must not be tolerated.”
