With this proposal (No. 711), the Magistrate is instructed to work with the Frankfurt municipal swimming pools to organize the School Swimming Week, which was carried out in 2022 and 2023, again in 2024. Frankfurt primary schools should be informed about the opportunity to conduct a one-week project week with students from 3rd to 6th grade. The swimming week should take place two weeks before the start of the Hessian summer holidays. After the event has been held again, it should be evaluated in autumn 2024 whether there is still a need to continue the School Swimming Week.
