More Bike-parking at the ‘Waldstadion’

With the motion (No. 728), we instruct the city council to take the following actions:

Create additional bicycle parking spaces near the entrances E1 (main entrance at Stadionbad), E4, and E5.
Conduct a needs analysis and prioritize accordingly.
Create additional areas for the existing Bike-Point, which offers supervised bicycle parking.
Regulate the random parking of e-scooters, and in the process, evaluate whether the model project initiated with NR 585/2023 for the removal of e-scooters can be expanded to the area around the Waldstadion.
Develop a new mobility concept for the area expanded to include the multifunctional arena.
Investigate the construction of a bicycle parking garage at the Waldstadion.

Volt Frankfurt: the political party

Volt Frankfurt is part of Volt Europe, the first party that is the same all over Europe. In Frankfurt, at the heart of Europe, we fight for a progressive, sustainable and united EU. We work according to the motto: Think global, act local.

Nearly one million people live and work in Frankfurt. The challanges we face are shared with over 100 Million people in metropolies all over europe. Volt stands for the urban living of tomorrow, using progressive and pragmatic solutions.

We want to implement concepts that were already proven successful in other european cities. Be it lowering rents like Vienna, cycling like in Copenhagen or digital gouvernment services like Estland: we want to solve Problems, instead of just pushing them to the next election cycle.
